Story
Cohana's easy-to-use sewing tools are assorted in a new-concept tool pouch that unifies fabric and wood.
Made of durable paraffinized cherry-colored canvas and a base of Japanese oak wood used for high-end furniture, the pouch has a natural and warm texture that blends with your interior naturally. This unlikely tool case that combines fabric and wood was developed by Kinari Woodworks using their original technique.
The tool pouch stands on its own firmly supported by the wooden base that provides excellent stability. A divider is sewn into the inside of the tool box, allowing the tools to stand on standby while you work.
The handle of the zipper pull is also made of oak wood. The beautiful grain creates a natural atmosphere, and the gentle feel of the wood and easy-to-handle design make it comfortable to use.

Established in 2011 as a custom furniture workshop in Hida Takayama, known for furniture manufacturing. While encountering furniture-making techniques, the company developed Kinari Woodworks' original technique of “unifying fabric and wood,” and started a new type of manufacturing focusing on products that fuse fabric and wood.
Fabric for Pincushion｜Sanko Orifu／Nara
Founded in 1958 in Nara, a major production center of mosquito net fabric. Taking advantage of the characteristics of natural fabric of the mosquito net, the company produces a variety of products that fit today's lifestyle, including the popular kitchen cloth, which has become a standard souvenir of Nara.
