Two Needle Resters Inspired by Spring Flowers in Bloom

Story

When we launched the 2026 SAKURA Series back in February, the response was overwhelming — and the Awaji Kawara Needle Rests sold out faster than we anticipated. Since then, requests for a restock have been pouring in; we're thrilled to bring them back.

As with the original release, this item is available in limited quantities. Once the available stock has sold out, it will not be restocked, so we encourage you to take a look while supplies last.

A small needle rest, crafted from high-quality clay from Awaji Island, traditionally used for Awaji roof tiles, and kiln-fired in the shape of flowers. This season, we offer two designs: soft sakura blossoms and delicate purple flowers reminiscent of spring fields. 

Finished with a lustrous glaze like that of ceramic roof tiles, they feature an elegant sheen and a pleasant  texture.

A built-in magnet ensures needles can be placed and picked up smoothly, creating a comfortable and organized handcrafting experience.

This “Awaji Kawara Needle Rest – Sakura” is the same as in the 2024 “Sakura Sewing Set.”

• This product has a built-in magnet. Keep it away from electronic devices such as computers and smartphones.
• Some stainless steel needles may not be attracted to the magnet.

Handling & Safety
• Dropping or subjecting the product to strong impact may cause damage.
• The synthetic leather on the bottom may fade or stain when exposed to water or perspiration.
• Keep out of reach of infants and young children.
