When we launched the 2026 SAKURA Series back in February, the response was overwhelming — and the Awaji Kawara Needle Rests sold out faster than we anticipated. Since then, requests for a restock have been pouring in; we're thrilled to bring them back.

A small needle rest, crafted from high-quality clay from Awaji Island, traditionally used for Awaji roof tiles, and kiln-fired in the shape of flowers. We offer two designs: soft sakura blossoms and a purple flower reminiscent of spring fields. 

Finished with a smooth glaze like that of ceramic roof tiles, they feature an elegant sheen and a pleasant tactile feel.  A built-in magnet ensures needles can be placed and picked up smoothly, creating a comfortable and organized handcrafting experience.
