Wooden Needle Minder SAKURA (45-350)
Hand-carved Sakura shape wooden needle minder by Japanese wood artisan
Story
The artisan, who works on temple transom carvings, has carefully crafted each cherry blossom by hand. The built-in magnet securely catches the needle.
Using the included backing magnet, the embroidery fabric can be easily placed within the embroidery hoop. Having the needle minder at hand while working on your project makes the actions of ‘placing the needle’ and ‘taking the needle’ safe and smooth.

Ishikawa Sculpture Works/Aichi
Ishikawa Sculpture Works has been in business for over 50 years. Mr. Ishikawa, a second-generation carver and traditional craftsman, primarily creates Ranma; decorative transoms for temples. He is a highly valuable craftsman, as there are now very few carvers with the fine and reliable techniques required for making Ranma.
Using many engraving knives, each piece is carefully carved out one by one.
This is a Ranma for a temple, created by Ishikawa Sculpture Works.
