Story
These beautiful small scissors are perfect for detailed cutting work.
The blades are created by Hasegawa Cutlery, a manufacturer of edged tools established in 1933 and located in Seki, Japan's foremost cutlery-making town. Handles are lacquer coated by Ehara Lacquer Works in Nagoya. The handles are decorated with gold Makie lines using pure gold to give them a noble luster.
A snowflake charm is attached for the KANTSUBAKI Winter Limited Edition.
Each pair of small scissors is handcrafted by a craftsman to adjust the engagement of the blades in order to achieve a sharp cutting edge. The final steps of the finishing process "Final Sharpening" and "Tip Shaving" require the senses and experienced skills of the artisan.

Handling Precautions
- The blade tips are sharp, so please handle with care.
- Forcing the blades to cut hard or thick object will result in losing blade engagement and damage to the blades.
- Dropping or strong impact may cause damage.
- Do not store scissors in direct sunlight or in high temperatures and humidity to prevent rusting of the scissors and discoloration of the lacquer.
- Lacquer coatings and gold maki-e lines are very delicate. Do not use hard cloths or abrasives for cleaning as they scratch the surface.
- After use, wipe with the cleaner cloth provided and store in the sheath.
- The sheath is made of genuine leather and therefore may stretch or shrink a little. Also wetting with water or sweat may cause color fading or stains.
