A charming Cypress Pincushion characterized by a compact, round shape, inspired by a nut in the forest is very popular in Cohana.
The fabric of the pincushion is a high quality linen, produced in Hamamatsu region of Shizuoka Prefecture. Using high quality materials and committed to natural manufacturing methods, linen fabrics are created by skilled artisans involved in all processes of weaving, dyeing, and finishing. Please enjoy the natural characteristics of the threads and its texture.
Shippo is a type of cloisonne ware, or lacquered metalwork, and its name derives from the "seven treasures" of gold, silver, pearl, agate, crystal, coral, and lapis lazuli. Uniquely crafted "Shippo flakes" are incorporated into the glass head of the sewing pins, bringing an elevated touch to your craft.
