A Needle & Mini Threads Set in a Haibara Chiyogami Mini Box
The box is made with flower pattern Chiyogami named Kohana, a reprint of the Ise-katagami pattern from the Meiji and Taisho periods of Haibara, a long-established paper company in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. It contains a needle, a threader with the same pattern Chiyogami, three colors of mini thread, and a sewing needle.
Seki Mini Scissors Mother's Day Limited Edition, has red handles and a leather case in the matching color. It is adorned with a sparkling white and silver tassel.
You can hold the scissors like pinching with your fingers and cut with light force.
Enshu Mentsumugi drawstring pouch Enshumentsumugi is made of Enshu cotton pongee, which has been handed down since the 19th century around Lake Hamana in Shizuoka Prefecture. Gently and slowly and carefully woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom, this textile has a simple and warm touch. Uneven threads give a unique expression on the textile. We chose gentle stripe in white and pink.

Haibara is a traditional Japanese paper Washi company in business for more than 200 years in Nihonbashi, Tokyo. Since its establishment in the late Edo period, the company has commissioned illustrators and artists of the time to create original designs for their chiyogami. The prints are available even today.
Haibara Chiyogami has been loved by many people throughout the ages. During the Meiji period (1868-1912), when Japan was civilized and opened to the world, its exquisite beauty was highly appreciated in foreign countries, and it played a role in driving Japonism in Western Europe.
