Pre-order items cannot be placed in the same cart across different pre-order categories shown in the product names.

They also cannot be placed in the same cart as regular in-stock items.

If you place an order for multiple items within the same pre-order category that have different expected arrival dates, your order will be shipped together once all items are in stock, according to the latest arrival date.
