The Cypress Pincushion is a compact pincushion inspired by the shape of a forest nut. A beloved item since the early days of Cohana, it will return with a new fabric and packaging.

The new pincushion features durable Aizu-Momen fabric. It is a traditional cotton textile from the Aizu region of present-day western Fukushima Prefecture. Traditionally used for workwear, it is characterized by its crisp texture, rustic appearance, and vibrant colors.

The wooden base continues to be crafted from fragrant hinoki cypress sourced from Japan’s Kii Mountain Range, with each piece carefully finished. The natural fragrance of the wood adds to its appeal.

The pincushion is filled with polyester batting that helps prevent needles from rusting.

The leather tag allows the pincushion to be attached to a cord for easy carrying or for display.

The cord is not included

Featuring auspicious traditional Japanese patterns, the packaging makes it well suited for gifting.
