Notice: Change to Backing Magnets for Our Needle Minders

Thank you for your continued support of Cohana.

We will be changing the specifications of the backing magnets for our needle minders.

Affected Products

  • 45-371: Needle Minder – Sabae Acetate Classic Mosaic

  • 45-428: Kokeshi Needle Minder Yellow

  • 45-429: Kokeshi Needle Minder Pink

  • 45-430: Kokeshi Needle Minder Green

  • 45-431: Kokeshi Needle Minder Blue

  • 45-444: Kumiko Needle Minder Yellow

  • 45-445: Kumiko Needle Minder Pink

  • 45-446: Kumiko Needle Minder Green

The backing magnet will now be set into a wooden frame, making it easier to hold with your fingers and simpler to attach and remove. The weight remains almost the same, so there will be no noticeable change in how it feels when used with embroidery fabric or other materials.

As the frame is made from wood, variations in color, grain, and the appearance of the engraving may occur.

Before the change

  • Diameter: 12 mm
  • Thickness: 2 mm
  • Weight: Approx. 2 g

After the change

  • Diameter: 20 mm
  • Thickness: 6 mm
  • Weight: Approx. 3 g

Effective date: Shipments from Tuesday, November 10, 2026 (JST)
