Both are traditional Japanese colors loved by the aristocrats of the Heian period. The Heian period was about 1,240 years ago, when Japanese culture flourished. Please enjoy these graceful Japanese colors that have been cherished since ancient times.

Kuchinashi: the white-flowered gardenia, which emits a sweet and elegant fragrance in early summer, bears small yellowish-red berries in autumn and early winter. These berries have long been used as a dye for dyeing textiles yellow.
It is mentioned in literature and in the code of laws of the Heian period, indicating that it was one of the indispensable colors for the aristocrats of the Heian period.

The flower languages are associated with happiness, such as "I am very happy" and "Bringing joy."
